About Us

In early 2012, we received a call from my widowed father’s doctor saying he needed more day to day assistance. Since we live in California and my father in Arizona, we navigated the unknown waters of taking care of my Dad long distance.  After meeting with Dad, his doctor, accountant and banker it was clear he needed help with not only his daily living situation, but also his finances and medical care.  A serious fall required him to immediately move out of his home and directly into an Assisted Living & Memory Care Facility.

Dad had long term care insurance but was denied his initial claim on Day 97 of the 100 day waiting period.  We made all the necessary calls, gathered all the required paperwork and documentation from his doctors and caregivers and processed the appeal.  After a month of numerous regular calls to check on the progress of the appeal, we were successful in overturning the denial of claims.  This allowed my father to stay in the perfect Assisted Living & Memory Care Facility for him and saved our family $4,000 a month by enacting the long term care policy he had been paying into for many many years.

Our career backgrounds are varied. I have owned my own independent fashion stylist business since 2003 and worked for 10 years prior to that in Corporate Communications for two NYC based cable networks. Philip has worked in the Mortgage and Insurance fields for more than 20 years on both the East and West Coasts.  We are also committed volunteers in our community and have been happily serving the schools, youth sports, at risk youth and fundraising efforts for many organizations, including Blind Children's Learning Center, Meals on Wheels, Working Wardrobes and the I Have a Dream Foundation.

It is our passion to share our expertise and advocate for seniors and all families who are going through the confusing and time consuming experience that comes with a health crisis or life transition.  We provide consultations with complete confidentiality to our clients nationwide.  From insurance claims and housing transitions, to bill paying and completing real estate transactions, our sole focus is helping your family manage elder care or any family paperwork with ease.
